About me

The classroom came first. The infrastructure came after.

I didn't set out to run IT departments — I set out to help teachers teach better, and the technology leadership followed from there.

17+ years in technology. 8 of them in education.

I started in IT infrastructure and support back in 2009, across hospitality, logistics and manufacturing — learning to run IT as an operation, not a helpdesk. Since 2017, that same discipline has been pointed squarely at schools: leading IT departments and infrastructure across four international schools in India, and now serving as sole full-time IT lead across three campuses at GMIS in Indonesia, where I independently built the school's in-house ERP from scratch and its cybersecurity foundation from zero. The full role-by-role history is on the Experience page.

Where the same instincts show up off the clock.

Cricket Badminton Volleyball Gym

Outside of school hours, most of my downtime goes to sport — cricket most of all, with badminton and volleyball close behind, and regular time in the gym to stay sharp for all three. I grew up playing cricket, badminton and volleyball, and what drew me in then is what keeps me playing now: they're games that reward people who communicate fast, read the situation, and back each other up without needing to say much.

That's not a bad description of a good IT team, either — which is probably why the two parts of my life have never felt very separate.
